Santa Rosa is of little interest in itself. It is a small village which gathers however some villagers and allows to see that one can live normally on these incredible islands. The main interest of this village lies in the fact that it is a good starting point to visit three famous tourist sites of Santa Cruz often frequented by the guided tours upon arrival at the airport: Los Gemelos, El Chato and the underground lava tunnel. If you like Galapagos turtles, don't miss the El Chato reserve, where you can see and photograph beautiful ladies in their natural environment.
