On the border between Cornwall and Devon, Bude has been a holiday destination since Victorian times. A little less busy than its western neighbors, its distance from the main regional tourist spots means that visitors tend to leave it behind. As elsewhere in the county, Bude is a beach town. There are miles of fantastic beaches stretching from Widemouth Bay in the south to Duckpool and the Devon border in the north. Each as beautiful as the next. The main beach is beautiful and even has a section with a swimming pool.
