Attached to the province of Quang Ngai, some 30 km from the coast, the island district of Ly Son is a volcanic formation formed several million years ago. The largest island covers an area of 10 km². The district offers a beautiful seascape - crystal clear waters, steep cliffs, beaches and coral formations. Western tourists are still rare and the reception infrastructure is largely insufficient. The embarkation is done at the port of Sa Ky. It is located 150 km south of Dà Nang (connections from Dà Nang bus station) and 60 km northeast of Chu Lai airport
