EL CELLER DE L'ADROHER
Read moreThis family-run restaurant, opened in 1990, is a great place to stay. Traditional Catalan specialities are tasted, varying according to the seasons and market products: calçots al forn, country botifarra, senglar rostit (wild boar)… The house is specialized in carns with brasa and rostits (slow cooking). The two service rooms display a rustic and wooded garden, and the service team is pro and rather relaxed. You feel fast like at home. A good address, traditional and cheap. The restaurant is part of the Cuina association of Les Carboneres.
CAN JOAN D'ADRI
Read moreIt's been more than 20 years since the Can Joan restaurant of traditional Catalan cuisine reopened its doors. It follows in the footsteps of the owner's grandmother, Maria Duran, who wore an apron in the kitchen from 1919 to 1960, patiently preparing rostits and other typical dishes such as conill a la rabiosa (spicy rabbit). Today, the menu is more extensive, offering fish, meat (including game) and salads... The result is palpable expertise and generous portions. A sure bet.
