North of Sant Gregori, this area includes the towns of Canet, Adri, Biert, Montcal, Montbò and Rocacorba, with which it shares the high plains of Canet, Montcal and Cartellà. The landscape is dotted with farmhouses, some of them with ancient architecture, and typical Catalan villages. Unlike the other three municipalities in the valley, Canet d'Adri is not crossed by the Llémena river, but by one of its tributaries, the Canet stream. Canet's special feature is its water: there are numerous waterfalls. Here, too, you'll appreciate the traditional peasant cuisine.
