Fenner no longer exists, except for its Hi Sahara Oasis gas station, the last remnant of Route 66, which is open 24 hours a day and located next to the Intersate 40 entrance (Exit 107). At 5.7 miles southwest of Fenner, Route 66 intersects with an old portion of the National Trails Highway from Exit 115 of Intersate 40. Continue to the right toward Essex.Please note: In 2022, and for a long period of time, Route 66 was cut off between Fenner and Amboy. The only option is I-40, forgetting Essex, Cadiz Summit and Chambles, which are just ghost towns.
