Millicent, population 5,200, is the only major town between Robe and Mount Gambier. There are several restaurants and accommodation facilities, as well as a Visitor Center that doubles as an eco-museum, the Living History Museum, with an interesting display of carts and wagons, numerous Aboriginal artefacts and a room dedicated to shipwrecks.From Millicent, you can take the Wind Farm Tourist Drive, Tantanoola Cave Conservation Park or Canunda National Park. The town is also a stopover on the Princess Highway, which runs along the coast.
