WOAKWINE RANGE WIND FARM TOURIST DRIVE

It is the largest wind farm in the Southern Hemisphere. The Woakwine Range Wind Farm Tourist Drive is the perfect route to see these wind turbines. Some of the turbines are in the Canunda National Park area, and about 100 are in the Bonney Lake area. When fully operational, the 123 turbines in the wind farm development will generate nearly 300 megawatts, equivalent to one-eighth of South Australia's energy needs.
