This small village close to the Punda Maria Gate is made up of traditional mud huts with thatched roofs. The way of life is rural, but the Shangaan people know all about Kruger Park because they lived there long before the creation of the national park, its tracks and its infrastructures. These pioneer inhabitants will tell you beautiful stories and legends about the park and its animals. You don't come to Josepha village by chance, but you can stay with local people through the fair trade tourism agency A Taste of Africa. A change of scenery and an unforgettable human experience.
