Travel Guide Soly (Солы)

The village of Soly includes a site that is worth a visit. Built between 1926 and 1934, the Catholic church of the Virgin Mary of the Rosary (Костёл Пресвятой Девы Марии Розария) appears in the middle of the small wooden houses. Interior frescoes exhibit strong historical connotations, such as the Miracle side Fresco on the Visla river representing the 1919-1920 war between Poland and the USSR. At the end of this war, the western part of Belarus remained Polish, thus avoiding mass repression by the Soviet government in the 1930 s.Soly is located 20 km northeast of Achmiany. The ideal thing is to go by car. From Minsk, you can also take the train to Maladetchna and take a second train to join Soly.
