Palūšė is a pretty village located on the eastern shore of Lake Lūšiai. From the northern end of the village, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets by the lake. Start at the tourist center (on Lūšių 16). It organizes hikes, rents camping equipment and boats. It will tell you about the many camping sites available in the park as well as where you can rent a bed in wooden bungalows. They will give you instructions in Russian, English or German, and you can also buy maps of the park. This is also where you can get permits for hunting and fishing.
