This museum in Dordrecht is dedicated to the pictorial arts. The Amsterdam and Hague schools of painting are well represented, as well as the Dutch Romantic painters, some of whom made a career in France, such as Ary Scheffer. One of the wings of the museum exhibits more contemporary works. Don't miss the impressive 7-meter wide panorama of the city of Dordrecht in pictures as you climb the stairs to the first floor.
