Elegant building converted into apartments Palace residence with original architecture and period elevator shafts

But what is this elegant building that dominates the sea wall with all its imposing majesty? Its construction dates back to the very beginning of the 20th century, and back then it was a hotel, even a palace! The idea was to attract tourists embarking for the New World. The hotel was inaugurated just two weeks before the outbreak of the First World War, and was immediately requisitioned by the Germans. In 1949, it was converted into "Residence Palace" apartments. The original architecture and elevator shafts have been preserved.
