This seaside Popeye brewery(Zeezotje in Flemish) has a good reputation. Here, you can enjoy local tapas (meatballs with Brugse Zot beer, scampi and lemongrass meatballs, herring fillets with Bismarck sauce)... or a more hearty bistro-style dish (meat, fish, salad or pasta...) or just a cheese board with wine. The Zeezotje salad with various smoked fish and horseradish sauce is a real treat. You get what you pay for, efficiently served, with a smile and Belgian humor to boot. We also like the flexible opening hours.

Une brasserie où l'on mange bien pour un prix très raisonnable. L'accueil est très chaleureux et les serveurs font des efforts pour parler français avec les clients ne comprenant pas le flamand. La carte est assez variée ; on y trouve des croques monsieur, pizza, pâtes, poissons,...A l'été une terrasse couverte face au port est installée.

Set has outside after having started to dine, we literally were done machine-gunned by seagulls…
As a result 2 dishes and 2 beers spoiled.
But the waiter was super! He returned while telling us " do not worry one prepares others! '. a gesture very commercial and widely appreciated!
Made relate this inconvenience, we dined very well. The price/quality ratio is top!
