The church of Leffinge in Middelkerke, in neo-gothic style, with an interesting historical value, and hosting thirteen towers
The neo-Gothic church in Leffinge has an interesting historical value, as do the archaeological discoveries made during lengthy renovation work. The historical heritage of this church is underestimated. The 55 m-high, 700 m² edifice houses thirteen towers to commemorate the birth date of Bishop Faict (de Leffinge) in 1813. Deacralized in 2021, the church is now the property of the Middelkerke municipality. It is still awaiting a new use.
