Villars-Fontaine is an artistic center par excellence, a spectacular place where nature and art meet.

La Karrière is a spectacular place where art, nature and history come together. A center of artistic creation par excellence, managed by an association, it enlivens the Hautes Côtes de Nuit region and brings together music, graphic art and wine. Located in a former Comblanchien limestone quarry, the theater and its monumental frescoes on the 12-meter-high quarry face are impressive. The constantly changing cultural program is announced on the website, and the site can also be visited outside events.

Une très belle surprise. Venus pour admirer les fresques, nous découvrons à notre arrivée un événement de dégustation de vins de Bourgogne, accompagné de performance d’artiste en direct live. Un excellent moment que nous recommandons, et un grand merci aux bénévoles !

La karriere è un posto che non t’immagini davvero. Una vecchia cava di pietra immersa nei vigneti della Borgognona, trasformata in area mostre e spettacoli a cielo aperto. Le pareti di roccia, da dove sono stati tagliati in passato enormi blocchi, sono stati dipinto da alcuni tra i più bravi e famosi writer europei, come ad esempio Mode 2 o il ‘nostro’ Eron, che ci ha dato la dritta per scoprire questo posto speciale, quando ha saputo del nostro viaggio a n Borgogna. I grafiti sono tutti davvero belli ma le sensazioni evocate dalla location prendono il sopravvento, essendo tutte le opere, prodotte da artisti di livello. Durante la nostra visita, stavano allestendo il palco per un festival che si terrà nei prossimi giorni, peccato non potervi partecipare per vedere la Karriere ‘a pieno regime ‘. Bellissima scoperta! Tra un assaggio di Pinot nero e l’altro, consiglio di andare a dare un’occhiata.
