Villars-Fontaine is an artistic center par excellence, a spectacular place where nature and art meet.

La Karrière is a spectacular place where art, nature and history come together. A center of artistic creation par excellence, managed by an association, it enlivens the Hautes Côtes de Nuit region and brings together music, graphic art and wine. Located in a former Comblanchien limestone quarry, the theater and its monumental frescoes on the 12-meter-high quarry face are impressive. The constantly changing cultural program is announced on the website, and the site can also be visited outside events.

Opening time and information on LA KARRIÈRE

May, June and October: open Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 11am to 6pm. July, August and September: open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Free until 18 years old (school group 60€). Adults: 4 € (membership card 18€/year). Guided tour for groups from 50€, possible every day on reservation. Cultural activities according to the calendar. Guided tour (dogs allowed on leash). Program of events on www.lakarriere.fr.

Bien déçu car nous sommes venus le 13 juillet à l'ouverture pour découvrir que le site est exceptionnellement fermé le 13 et 14 juillet. Mais rien n'est annoncé sur internet.
