GROOT VLEESHUIS

In this ancient medieval butchery, all local products are found: Cold meats, cheeses, mustard, juniper, apple juice… Looking for good things to eat, to taste or even to offer, we find it in these sweet and gourmet places, which have history since the building dates from the beginning of the th century and is one of the most valuable historical monuments of the city of Ghent. Groot Vleeshuis, meaning «Great Butchery», therefore opposed the now disappeared «Little Butchery» or «Klein Vleeshuis».
