The Groentenmarkt square is lined with stores selling the famous cuberdons, Tierentyn mustard, local produce (in the Grande Boucherie), a cheese factory and the city's oldest bakery. Since 1790, the Tierenteyn-Verlent family of artisan mustard-makers have been selling their products in this store where time seems to have stood still.
