CONFISERIE TEMMERMAN

This confectionery is mythical, it has existed for over thirty years! First of all, it is located in a building of character, which dates from the 17th century, and its facade has bas-reliefs representing the seven works of mercy. Its specialty? The cuberdon - the nose, in French -, a cone-shaped candy made of gum arabic, filled with raspberry syrup (fragrant and very sweet), typical of Ghent. Other Ghent sweets include mokken (round aniseed cookies) and knopkes (a kind of cookie).
