There are many things to do in this village, a real little medieval gem nestled in the hollow of a valley, where the Tille river has its source. The name "Salives" also means "gushing waters, sacred spring". To discover absolutely: the ramparts, the keep, the church of Saint-Martin, the wash-house where the Tille is born and above all the fortified well: it is a square turret built in the 14th century which was used to protect the water supply of the village in case of siege. If you can, stay until nightfall: the lighting on the ramparts takes you back in time, when lords and peasants lived in the shade of the keep.
