A place steeped in history, where you can discover the secrets of myciculture and visit the exhibition tracing its origins.
La Champignonnière de Dijon, located at the Château du Hameau de Corcelotte near Sombernon, is a place steeped in history, dating back to the 13th and 18th centuries, where you can discover the secrets of myciculture. For groups who have booked a tasting session, the tour takes around an hour and a half. Visit the exhibition tracing the origins of La Champignonnière, and discover the store stocked with mushroom-based preparations. The château has retained its historic charm, highlighted by door decorations reminiscent of the geometry of Burgundian roofs. Blandine and Luc Lecherf, who moved here in 2016, are happy to share their passion for mushrooms. Tastings can be organized, transforming the Champignonnière into a farmhouse restaurant on Sunday lunchtimes, by reservation. Mushroom dishes prepared with vegetables from the château's garden are served in a charmingly authentic dining room. Three times a week, La Champignonnière is also present at the Dijon market, to be as close as possible to the mushroom consumers of the Dijon metropolis. You'll find them at the Halle centrale near the clock on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings, with direct access to their famous mushrooms. For those looking for a real change of scenery and direct contact with producers, the best place to go is the Hameau de Corcelotte.
