A Burgundy wine estate whose winery is housed in a former convent, an architectural feat.

Domaine Jean-Claude Boisset is housed in the magnificent cuverie des Ursulines, an 18th-century convent restored in 2018, an architectural feat whose planted dome rests partly on ancient cellars. This is where the wines of this estate, founded in 1961, are made: 50 shades of white, between minerality and finesse, or 72 shades of red, expressing character and authenticity. Tours and tastings by prior arrangement.

I have been to many wineries. Each domaine/chateau works differently, believe in different approach, and has different character.
Jean-Claude Boisset's vibes is calm. This including the people not just the atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and hospitality. You are up there in my top 3 winery visits.

Impossible d’acheter du vin sans prise de rendez vous! Je peux comprendre que pour une visite du domaine, les rdv soient nécessaires mais pour acheter du vin j’ai beaucoup de mal sachant que 3 ans en arrière, on pouvait y acheter sans problèmes!
