A Burgundy wine estate whose winery is housed in a former convent, an architectural feat.

Domaine Jean-Claude Boisset is housed in the magnificent cuverie des Ursulines, an 18th-century convent restored in 2018, an architectural feat whose planted dome rests partly on ancient cellars. This is where the wines of this estate, founded in 1961, are made: 50 shades of white, between minerality and finesse, or 72 shades of red, expressing character and authenticity. I cannot recommend the tour of Maison Jean Claude Boisset highly enough. Tatiana provided an extensive 2 hour tour, including the production areas, the barrel cellars, wine tastings and culminating with a visit to the private collection. What a place! You will not be disappointed, but you'll likely walk away with several cases of superb wine!
