The Cassissium helps you get to know the little black berry that is blackcurrant
Created in 2001, the Cassissium, run by Jean-Michel Tissot, gives visitors a better understanding of the blackcurrant berry, from its cultivation to the creation of processed products. A museographic area and a playful tour, thanks to the various workshops on offer, transform you into a blackcurrant producer for the duration of the visit. Temporary exhibitions complement the information provided in the film and guided tour. Tasting of Védrenne products and syrups at the end of the tour. Cocktail-making workshops.

La visite se compose d'une partie musée, interactive et ludique, d'un tour guidé de l'usine et se termine par une dégustation commentée de produits.
Notre guide (Marine) maitrise parfaitement son sujet, est dynamique et sympathique, ce qui rend la visite très intéressante et agréable.
Le tarif est légèrement élevé pour les adultes (10.50€) mais gratuit pour les enfants de moins de 12 ans, ce qui rend une visite en famille abordable.
Si nous n'avions pas d'attente ce jour-là et que nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir faire la visite guidée en petit groupe, je conseille cependant de réserver à l'avance pour être certain d'avoir une place sur le créneau désiré.
