This village is, in a way, an ignored star in its country. Few people know that Minot is one of the best known and most studied French communes in international academic circles. The numerous studies and publications have been based on the archive collection orchestrated by the Châtillonnais cooperative research programme. This village has been the subject of ethnographic studies based on an idea by Claude Levi-Strauss. The oral testimonies of the former inhabitants were thus preserved. As for the village church, it stands out for its originality by presenting a Greek temple as a porch! Inside, a 13th-century Virgin and Child casts a peaceful gaze on the place. You can also go and admire the covered market.
