This is the largest ski area in southern Finland, 55 km south of Jyväskylä (route 9, E63) and 220 km north of Helsinki. The resort boasts 21 downhill runs and 20 km of cross-country itineraries running deep into the forest and over frozen lakes. The longest run is almost a kilometer long, one of the longest in southern and central Finland. Good news for families: children under 7 are welcome free of charge, provided they have a helmet and are accompanied by an adult. And for beginners, some of the lifts are free for practice and initiation.
