Through sheer determination and passion, Sylvain Pataille has built up his estate, and with it his excellent reputation in the Côte de Nuits. This consultant oenologist knows how to work his vines as well as how to tell their story. With 14 hectares of vines, Sylvain Pataille works his wines biodynamically, respecting both the living environment and the terroir, and nurtures his vintages with the patience of a growing child. When he's not in the cellar, he's in the vines, so to come and discover one of these Marsannays, it's essential to make an appointment.
