At 26,000 hectares, Mount Revelstoke National Park makes the alpine experience (almost) effortless. It is possible to reach the top of the mountain within 5 minutes of getting out of your vehicle! Its varied vegetation around the two peaks, Mount Coursier and Mount Inverness, both at 2,637 meters, includes cedar and fir trees. There are several hikes: Eagle Knoll Trail, Parapets and Eva Lake Trail. From Highway 1, the park can be accessed via the Skunk Cabbage Trail or the Giant Cedars Trail. Cyclists can venture 26 km along the Meadows-in-the-Sky Parkway, where an annual race is held.
