The Haa Valley is located south of Paro, at an altitude of 2,700 m. This forest-covered region is located close to Tibet, very close to the Chumbi Valley, but not very crowded. In spite of the lifting of the ban on visits, few tourists engage in this region, which explains the lack of reception facilities. But also its particularly well-preserved aspect. From Paro, 100 km and 3 hours of driving, sometimes offering an unobstructed view of the Jomolhari, Jichu Drakye and Kangchen-Junga peaks, lead to the valley and the village of the same name. This valley is particularly suitable for hiking and mountain biking.
