Travel Guide Kuruthang

4 easy walking days, at an average altitude (1 500 to 2 000 m) which crosses many small villages. Day 1: Khuruthang - Limukha. 12 km and 4 hours walk. Departure at the foot of Dzong Dzong (1 250 m). Gradual climb through a pine forest, rizières and the village of Shegana. Day 2: Limukha - Chungsakha. 14 km and 5 hours walk. The trail leads you through a forest of rhododendrons and oaks. On the way to Chungsakha, you pass through the temple of the famous Madman Divine, Drukpa Kuenley.Day 3: Chungsakha - Samtengang. 13 km and 5 hours walk. The trail leads you through the village of Sha, in the district of Wagdue.Day 4: Samtengang - Chuzomsa/Cent. 15 km and 5 hours walk. The trek ends with a descent to Chumzomsa, where a driver will wait for you to lead Cent (20 minutes).
