Ideal stopover for 30 people and private gîte for 26 people.

Located on the GR7, Borgirault Farm is the ideal stopover for exploring the most beautiful trails in the National Forest Park on foot, by bike or on horseback. Sabine and Christopher Lenz have created this place with great attention to detail, and offer you the warmest of welcomes. Horse and pony rides are also available. La ferme de Borgirault is ultimately a gîte d'étape for 30 people, divided into several rooms with living areas, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen. The table d'hôte, reserved for residents, promises to be a great place to meet other hikers.

Gîtes de France (2 épis). Open all year round. Reservations required. Reception in French, English and German. Sleeps 30 (7 rooms). Reduced rates for children. 15 € per night per person. 31 € half-board. 5 € breakfast. Animals accepted (equestrian gite: accommodation for horses). Catering (homemade local cuisine at table d'hôte for residents only - fruit and vegetables from the farm or local produce). Horse-riding available on site.

Formidable week-end passé dans ce relais équestre. Un gîte de 30 places loin de tout, tranquille et confortable. Des hôtes au service de leurs client. Nous reviendrons.

Wij komen hier nu al 4 jaar als tussenstop naar het Zuiden. De boerderij is gelegen op een doodlopende weg middenin de velden. De kamers zijn verzorgd en de maaltijd 's avonds altijd heerlijk en veel met een mooie kaasschotel. Gezellig samen aan tafel, hoe leuk is dat niet.

Propriétaire odieux, nous a accueilli comme de la vermine dès l'arrivée. Malgré notre effort pour rester courtois et gentils, il nous a dit que "ça serait bien qu'on dégage vite fait" car on finissait de ranger nos affaires sur la terrasse à 11:05 et qu'on devait partir à 11:00. Je ne me suis jamais senti aussi mal accueilli de ma vie.

Si vous voulez simplement rester une nuit, que n'êtes pas des habitués ou que vous ne le payez pas pour les activités qu'il propose, préparez-vous à vous faire insulter si monsieur a un peu abusé de la bouteille en se levant.

Perfect! We returned after our first great experience. Again perfect! Clean room, access to kitchen with cooling. Fantastic horse riding and of course great meals. You eat together with the other guests, great way to meet different people. No bad things to remark. Family Lenz thanks a lot!
