Travel Guide Karaburun Peninsula

A bus goes to the tip of the Karaburun peninsula. This trip is especially recommended for motorists enjoying a long vacation. Coming from the east, turn right after Urla. Picturesque villages, such as Gülbahçe, Balıklıova, Mordoğan, or that of Karaburun, at the foot of Mount Manastır from which you will enjoy a magnificent view of the area. All along the road (3 hours to go around), you will cross beautiful landscapes with sometimes the view of the sea, sometimes the view of the Greek islands. Sometimes the scenery becomes barren and empty, giving a feeling of being at the end of the world, far from the tourist circuits.
