A mountain village of 3 800 inhabitants with houses planted on a few hills covered with meadows and forests. They can see the peasants cut the hay, paître the sheep, cut wood in the forest or plough the land. This is a good starting point for discovering the caves of the region, the Albioara gorges and the Plateau plateau. To see the caves, one borrows an asphalt road, in very good condition, which binds the DN 76 to DN 1 and allows to take the route Beiuş-Remetea (where lies the cave of Cave) Roşia (there is the cave at the Crystals of the Farcu mine and the Minier Mining Museum) -Bratca-Borod-Aleşd. Another route could be Borod-Şuncuiuş (Wind Cave and Cave Unguru Mare) -Vadu Crişului (cave of Vadu Crişului) -Aleşd. To access the gorges of Albioara, you must take departmental route 764, which links Beiuş to Aleşd. Long lasting 2,6 kilometres, these gorges offer good conditions for trekking and observing many sources and caves. The Runcuri plateau is an interesting karst plateau made up of hills and valleys that create a chaotic terrain, very curious to see. From the hamlet of Runcuri we have an overview of part of this plateau. Roşia also has other attractions such as artisanales distilleries of plums, a handmade stringed shop, which is made of trumpet violins, a specific instrument of folklore in this region of the Apuseni Mountains. Master Dorel Codoban lives in the village of Lazuri de Roşia, at number 95. Also a water mill built at the end of the th century and still functional. He can be visited in the presence of his propriétaie, Burtic Gheorghe, village of Roşia, at number 731.
