About 270 kilometers east of Melbourne and at the foot of the southern slopes of the Alpine National Park, Briagolong is a small village of just over 1,000 people that once specialized in the timber industry. The area has now turned to beekeeping and fruit growing. On site, don't miss the peaceful Blue Pool, a large natural pool in a gorge on Freestone Creek that is the perfect place to spend the afternoon with children and cool off! The town also has a beautiful art gallery, several wineries and some great pubs!
