This suburb of Gosford, located off the Pacific Highway, is known for its Australian Reptile Park, a popular attraction. Somersby also includes sections of the Brisbane Water National Park, where Somersby Falls is located. Leaving Somersby from the north (Wiseman Ferry Rd, Peats Ridge Rd or Dog Trap Rd), it is possible to reach Wisemans Ferry from Central Mangrove along the Hawkesbury River and Dharug National Park. For the rest, the city, which is divided between industrial areas on the outskirts of the Pacific Hwy and suburban areas, is of very limited interest.
