We arrive at the small village of Lorca, with a population of only 120 inhabitants, by way of a beautiful medieval stone bridge that crosses the Salado River, offering beautiful rural views. In the center of the village, you can admire beautiful emblazoned houses from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as the church of San Salvador, of Romanesque origin, built in the 12th century and remodeled many times throughout its history. It houses a statue of Santiago that pilgrims come to admire. In the church square, you will find a bakery to buy groceries, as well as several establishments to eat.
