Apart from the previous ones, the site is located on the banks of the river La Pasión, on the border between the Petén and the Alta Verapaz. Relatively unknown, it shelters nevertheless monumental architectural structures, of great historical value, since it was a commercial center of first importance for the Maya during the Late Classic. Discovered a first time at the beginning of the XXth century, it is really invested only towards 1999. Today, we can see an impressive altar of some 230 kilos. The stones bear beautiful images and hieroglyphs that relate the ceremonies of the Maya kings, while the text is carved in high relief.
