The beach is located in Beberibe, in the surroundings of Morro Branco. Fontes means springs, which form lagoons of warm water and mix with lagoons and rivers winding between the dunes. Praia das Fontes is certainly one of the best destinations to visit in Ceará. It is quite quiet and there is a good tourist infrastructure. The nature is generous. The beautiful cliffs overhanging the beach are typical of this region. Caves like the one in Mae d'Agua pierce the beautiful cliffs, combining rare geological formations with superb views of the sea. A little further on, the lagoon of Uruaù lends itself to a break.
