It's not easy to get to this hamlet! The most common way is to take a boat in Hatiheu: count at least 7,000 CFP per person round trip in the same day. You can also walk (count 1 hour of walk from Hatiheu) or go there on horseback (ask Yvonne for more information). You will first climb up to a pass from where the view is great, before going down to your destination. The beach is populated with nonos, but the site is Dantesque! It is probably one of the most beautiful bays in Polynesia. White sand and coconut palms extend over more than a kilometre of virgin landscapes, dotted with archaeological sites . A dream!
