Founded in 1946, Maison Gaugry is well known to Burgundy cheese lovers. The stars here are Palet de Bourgogne, a delicious soft cheese with a washed rind, Soumaintrain and Chaource PDO. Gaugry has won several awards for its gourmet, traditional products, such as Époisses AOP, Plaisir au Chablis bio, Crémant and Brochonnais bio. 2025 is synonymous with development: a new Brillat-Savarin IGP production facility is currently under construction!

Une auto visite en matinée très agréable même si l'atelier ne fonctionnait pas ce jour. Ensuite la dégustation de 5 fromages et d'un petit verre de Chablis...le tout agrémenté par un excellent accueil et une explication très précise et joyeuse des fromages dégustés. Nous recommandons cet arrêt fort sympathique. Et j'allais oublier le petit cadeau : le petit futé de Dijon ????.

Nous avons visité la fromagerie avec un groupe de 18 élèves de seconde. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, la visite libre est très bien organisée. Le petit mot de la fin pour la dégustation où ils ont pu comparer les différents fromages dégustés.

Un moment improbable, sur la route en allant à la Foire de Dijon. L' accueil très chaleureux d' isabelle vous fera connaître les différentes variétés de Fromages et de vins régionaux. On repassera avec plaisir.
