A former Benedictine abbey, steeped in history, with superb gardens and English park, a great place to visit in Bèze.

Founded in 630, the abbey of Bèze is one of the oldest in Burgundy. The visit of the building is an opportunity to retrace nearly a thousand years of history, still preserved in its stones dating mainly from the 18th century. You will be seduced by its English-style park redesigned in the 19th century, by the two-hundred-year-old plane trees and other purple beeches that dominate this domain crossed by the Bèze river. The garden of flowers and roses closes this natural moment before admiring the buildings classified in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments.
