DOMAINE BESANCENOT

This family estate, established in 1850, is now run by Thérèse and Dominique Besancenot, representing the sixth generation. The vineyard covers 10 ha, including 8 ha in the Beaune Premier Cru appellation, with the following climats: Le Clos du Roi, Les Theurons, Les Bressandes, Les Cents-Vignes, Toussaints, A l'Ecu and Les Grèves. On the first weekend in December, the estate organizes a Christmas market, and the weekend before Easter, an open house.

By appointment, Thérèse will give you an extremely warm welcome that you'll remember for a long time. There's something for everyone: those in a hurry can opt for the discovery tasting with tour, 5 wines tasted and gougères (lasts approx. 45 min), or for the Plaisir Gourmand package with tour, 7 wines tasted and gougères (lasts approx. 1 h). For those wishing to perfect the art of wine tasting, every morning at 10am, sign up for the Initiation à la Dégustation (duration approx. 2 h). Families can take advantage of the Tribe Tasting (visit + 5 wines tasted and syrups for the children and a gift to be won). And last but not least, La Virée entre Amis will delight all those who want to get together at 5 p.m. for a tasting of the estate's wines and a platter of charcuterie, while having some educational fun with the aromas game! At the end: a gift for the winner. During the grape harvest, the Domaine also organizes discovery days, at the end of which you'll be awarded the Diplôme du vendangeur (grape-picker's diploma).
