The first cider house to be established on Île d'Orléans, the Cidrerie Verger Bilodeau offers tastings of its own products as well as pick-your-own from late August to mid-October. Among the gourmet specialties in the boutique: apple butter, ice cider jelly (a delight with cheese!), apple juice, apple syrup, maple syrup, maple butter, duck foie gras terrine with apples, sparkling apple must, sparkling cider, raspberry mistelle and ice cider. This family-run vineyard produces several quality wines, including Brut Nature sparkling wine, Insula fortified wine (whisky-mutated grape must aged in American oak barrels for 3 to 10 years), Réserve du Bout de l'île white (lees stirred in oak barrels for 8 months) and Saison Terrasse rosé. The vineyard also produces cider, and in recent years the family has ventured into distillation, producing a brandy similar to grappa in Italy. A little extra: a restaurant serving authentic Neapolitan pizzas.

Housed in a residence over 200 years old, this boutique will charm you with its chocolate fragrances. The quality raw materials come from Belgium, and the chocolate factory transforms them into excellent products that are distributed to local businesses or sold on site. The truffles are a must (we've tried every flavor), and the sorbets and homemade ice creams are also worth a detour. A must for all gourmets!

Housed in the former Saint-Jean presbytery, which was also home to La Boulange until 2021, La Midinette is the offspring of the Monna sisters (of Cassis Monna & Filles), who have preserved the character and historic vocation of the premises while adding a more eccentric touch. La Midinette takes up the torch on the bakery side, adding a refreshment bar in the dining room or on the terrace. La Midinette is also a wine shop, offering a fine selection of wines from private imports. A fine gourmet address for indulging on the island!
