Wine estate with a cellar offering a selection of great Corton wines from various vintages. Tasting by appointment.

Established in 1857, Domaine du Comte Senard covers almost 10 hectares and is a benchmark on the Corton hillside. Its standard-bearer is its monopole, Corton Grand Cru Clos des Meix. The^5th generation, embodied by Lorraine and Matthieu Senard, perpetuates the excellence of the great Corton wines. The selection includes several vintages, both young and old, which sommeliers Baptiste and Enzo will be delighted to help you discover during a tasting after a visit to the magnificent ^13th-century Benedictine cellar, or during a meal at the table d'hôtes.

Opening time and information on DOMAINE COMTE SENARD

Open Tuesday to Saturday and public holidays, 10 am to 6 pm. Closed from mid-December to the end of January. Lunch tastings at the table d'hôtes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, by reservation only. Tastings without meal possible until 4:30pm, but booking recommended. Open on most public holidays. Tasting prices: 3 wines: free; 4 to 6 wines: €20 to €40/pers. 6 Grands Crus connoisseur package 150 €/pers. Mâchon/picnic and 2 Grand Crus: €62/pers. Purchase of wine: from €9 to €150 per bottle. Table d'hôtes rates (including meal-tasting-visit and sommelier recommendations): 4 wines, €84, 6 wines, €115, 6 Grand Crus €150. Mâchon/picnic and 2 Grands Crus: €62/pers. American Express accepted. Groups welcome on request.

Visite et dégustation sur rdv un vendredi après-midi. Nous avons été accueilli par Baptiste. Accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Nous avons commencé par une visite de la vigne en extérieur puis nous sommes allés à la cave pour finir à l’intérieur pour la dégustation. Tout était très bien expliqué et très intéressant. Quant à la dégustation, elle était top. Des bons vins que ce soit des appellations régionales, village, 1er cru ou grand cru. Tout est bon , il y en a pour tous les goûts. Baptiste a été à la hauteur. Nous sommes partis avec quelques bouteilles bien sûr. Nous reviendrons ;).
Merci encore pour ce joli moment de découverte et de dégustation.

We had a lovely tasting and tour experience at Domaine Comte Senard. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The wines we tasted were phenomenal. Highly recommend!
