The village of Malin is just a few shops around a large square with a well-trimmed lawn, and you'll soon feel like you've arrived at the end of the world. The village is an excellent base for those wishing to visit Ireland's most northerly point, the famous and highly sought-after Malin Head. Indeed, some fifteen kilometers out of town, after a road that alternates delightfully between green peeling rocks and sand dunes, you arrive at the most northerly point of the country and you are as if encircled by the sea and the mist. The views here are truly sensational and the calm impressive.
