Located on the banks of the Presa Plutarco Elías Calles, San José de Gracia is a popular destination for the people of Aguascalientes, who sometimes venture further into the Sierra Fría to La Cogonja and beyond, where there are a few isolated huts where you can spend the night in peace, and from where you can go hiking or mountain biking. Another option for the more intrepid is to head back to the Boca del Túnel Park, a beautiful canyon where a number of suspension bridges and two zip lines have been installed. This is an area that will please nature and ecotourism lovers.
