Travel Guide Lahad Datu

Lahad Datu is an essential crossroads linking remote destinations such as the Tabin reserve, the Maliau basin and the Danum valley. The town has no tourist attractions. On the other hand, its airport is very practical. There's nothing really interesting to report, as the town is otherwise rather dull. In general, you're just passing through. MASwings operates daily flights between Kota Kinabalu and Lahad Datu, whose airport lies to the north of the city. There are frequent bus connections from Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Sukau, Semporna and Tawau. The bus stops at the Shell station in Taman Fajar.
