Once in Santa Clara, it is easy to reach Zirahuen. At 25 km from the busy banks of Patzcuaro lake, it is a preserved place and its visit constitutes a rather radical change of scenery: between wooded mountains, its fresh waters vary from intense blue to jade green and their cleanliness makes it a good place to swim.
