10 kilometres south of Uruapán, the Río Cupatitzio is a-metre waterfall surrounded by lush vegetation. It is known as Cascade waterfall and offers an impressive show. The walk to the waterfall can be done on foot or on horseback. By taking a small road on the left side, you will fall on a second, very little-attended waterfall called Tzaráracuita, about 16 metres high.To go to the waterfall from the centre of Uruapán, take one of the buses from the main square and indicate Tzaráracua.
